Alfred Street Baptist Church to Host a FREE PTSD Awareness Program on Saturday, April 18 at 11am
Alfred Street Baptist Church’s Military Ministry presents “Help Us to Heal”, a FREE Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) awareness program designed specifically designed for all military and veterans, on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00am
Tony Curry and Carrie Gibson will present “Into the Fire”, a 45-minute dramatic routine that has been well accepted within the Returning Warrior Workshops and Department of Defense community. The event will be presented in the ASBC Sanctuary with music selections performed by TheMaryland Center for Veterans Education & Training (McVet) Center Gospel Choir. Immediately following the program will be an Information Resource Fair and reception with light refreshments in the ASBC Multi-purpose Room. The Information Resource Fair will be an opportunity for all guests, (civilians and military) to pick up information on PTSD from exhibitors and vendors.
