Swimming Pool Services Wins Four Gold “Awards of Excellence” in APSP Midwest Competition

PEWAUKEE, Wis. - April 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Swimming Pool Services Inc. has won four Gold “Awards of Excellence” from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, recognizing several unique, custom-built projects that exemplify the company’s longstanding commitment to quality and creativity.

The top honors were in the APSP Midwest Chapter competition, which includes more than 100 companies in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. These awards are just the latest for Swimming Pool Services, which has won Gold awards for more than 10 consecutive years in the APSP Midwest Chapter. Besides recognitions for specific projects, Swimming Pool Services has won several APSP awards as an “Outstanding Service Company,” based on consumer surveys.

The 2014 APSP awards honored four pool projects by Swimming Pool Services requiring precise planning and careful craftsmanship. Besides work on the pools themselves, each project involved creation of a larger, attractive surrounding area to fulfill the customer’s goals and requested features.

The winning projects, all which posed unique challenges, covered three categories in the 2014 APSP awards:

In the category “Residential Pool With Automatic Cover,” the level of luxury at a home on Oconomowoc Lake grew by building a raised spa adjacent to its new rectangular pool
In the category “Residential Vinyl Liner (600 Square Feet or More),” a mountain lake-design pool was fit into a tight space at a Franklin home, configuring with the yard’s size and topography
A second “Residential Vinyl Liner (600 Square Feet or More)” award honored a rectangle pool with artistic paver decking in Waukesha, where the sloped yard presented a distinct engineering challenge
In the “Renovation” category, an existing kidney-shaped pool in Elm Grove was completely reborn with new brick coping, a fresh liner and a redone concrete deck
