Walking With Superheroes to "Brave The Shave"

COLUMBUS, Ohio - March 31, 2015 - PRLog -- An estimated 10,380 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2015. Inspired by local childhood cancer fighters, Walking With Superheroes announces their 2nd annual charity and fashion event benefiting research at Nationwide Children's Hospital.  Please join us on Saturday, June 6th from 12pm-4pm at COSI located at 333 W Broad St, Columbus OH. PreSale tickets available for $10, $15 entry at the door.

This nonprofit event commends and recognizes true "Superheroes", children that have or have battled cancer and other serious diseases.  After a successful launch in 2014, Walking With Superheroes 2015 event will include fashion, performances, philanthropy and honoring children who have battled a different kind of villain.

This year’s main event will feature these heroic children on the fashion runway in clothing provided by Nicole’s For Children, escorted by their Superhero counterparts courtesy of The Heroes Alliance, The Mascot Organization and other local businesses.

Walking With Superheroes in conjunction with The St. Baldrick's Foundation would like to announce a "Brave The Shave" head shaving station with proceeds also going to pediatric cancer research. "Shavees" may sign up at StBaldricks.org/events/WalkingWithSuperheroes.

Other events include a performance by The Wiseman Dance Studio, a silent auction, raffles, giveaways, guest speakers and more.
