Superheroes Most Often Appear In Comic Books, Our Superheroes Appear On The Runway

COLUMBUS, Ohio - March 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Numerous superheroes use their powers to counter day-to-day crime, the superheroes we speak of, battle a different kind of villain; pediatric cancer. Onward and Upward Events are proud to present Walking With Superheroes, a charity and fashion event benefiting pediatric cancer research. Please join us on Saturday June 14th, 2014 at Cosi 333 W. Broad St Columbus, OH 43214 from 1-3pm.

Hosted by former Ohio State Buckeye Dimitrious Stanley, Walking With Superheroes will acknowledge children with life threatening illnesses who have battled pediatric cancer. Featuring styles from Nicoles For Children Boutique in Powell, these gallant superheroes will be escorted by Captain Ohio and Easton Man, alongside other superheroes, family, medical staff, sports figures and adult pediatric cancer survivors.

Walking With Superheroes will  feature a silent auction where 100% of the proceeds will go to Nationwide Pediatric Cancer Research. Each year in the United States, approximately 13,500 children and adolescents 18 and under are diagnosed with cancer, that is more than a classroom of kids a day.
