Forecast Health Expands Collaboration with SAS & Creates New Healthcare Predictive Analytics Soluti

DURHAM, N.C. - March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Forecast Health announces expansion of their relationship with business analytics leader SAS. While working to improve operational efficiencies of health systems, Forecast Health has created a “Predictive Analytics Accelerator Kit” (PAAK) for hospitals that packages proprietary predictive models, dashboards and data with analytics software by SAS. This can be deployed behind the hospitals’ firewalls or on the cloud.

PAAK contains Forecast Health proprietary risk scoring models for readmission and first admission, highly visual executive and clinical dashboards for clinicians and operational personnel, industry data and a predictive analytics platform that is scalable. Additionally, the kit is available on the cloud to hospital systems on a trial basis.

Combining reporting, claims, EHR, and consumer data, and big-data cloud technology, into a single package makes it easy for hospital systems to obtain deeper business insights, faster and more efficiently, optimize operating expenses, and help clinicians make quicker and more accurate decisions for providing better quality care to patients.

In addition to leveraging the packaged capabilities, clients can leverage both the SAS platform as well as the clinical, analytical, and technical experience of Forecast Health to deliver results using predictive analytics across a wide spectrum of quality, care and outcome improvement initiatives.
