AUSTIN, Texas - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Penny Davis is just an ordinary person telling an extraordinary story. She is passionate about Hospice, serves as a Board Member for Indiana Hospice Palliative Care Organization ( IHPCO ), volunteers her time with a local Hospice, gardens, collects vintage glassware and attends as many of her grandchildren’s events as possible. She lives in Indianapolis.

She wrote the book, "PJs, Pearls and Fishing Poles," to share the world of hospice care, sharing stories from hospice team members, patients and their families as examples of love, wisdom, humor, friendship, resilience, compassion and courage.

A former Executive Director of a hospice organization shares stories from her decades-long career and interactions with families, hospice team members and patients in this new book about the importance of time & life lessons released by Dog Ear Publishing.

Penny's interview not only sheds light on hospice being about living life fully, her story empowers us to live and serve from our heart and continue to develop professionally if that is your desire. We are all not meant to be Executive Directors of Hospices to be sure, but if you are, go for it!
