BEIRUT - March 2, 2015 - PRLog -- In the final months of 2014, Cloudfish, a business intelligence company, was born from the merger of Fetch and the Data Analysis division of the DNY group. It was from Fetch’s experience and origins that the inspiration for Cloudfish arose. Founded by Michael Chaftari with the idea to help communication agencies monitor and analyse social media activities for their clients and campaigns, Cloudfish helps companies make use of their data through novel and appealing interfaces.

An expert at deciding what business intelligence data is available on and off the web, Cloudfish transforms all this big data into meaningful business analysis solutions or procedures. They are able to measure, analyze and translate all this information into viable resources that are essential to the success and growth of a business.  This knowledge and understanding is translated through various tools, platforms and services that are all available online.

Fetch was created in 2011 by Michael Chaftari with the intention to fill the void that was present within communication agencies, allowing them to monitor and analyse social media activities for their clients and campaigns. Fetch had developed unique data collection and analysis technologies, which allowed them to work with leading regional agencies and international brands, and put their knowledge to practice in this ever evolving sphere of technology.

Following his under graduate studies, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the American University in Beirut, Michael has been an active actor in the tech sphere since 2003. He founded multiple sites in Lebanon and Canada before joining the advertising world in 2008, helping Leo Burnett into the digital fray of the advertising space. He earned many awards for his work including Silver lions at the Cannes Advertising Festival, Grand prix at the Dubai Lynx Festival and the Cristal de la Mena. After winning the young creative of the year distinction at the 2010 lynx festival with his Leo Burnett team, Michael left Leo burnett to found Fetch..

When Fetch was approached by DNY, an entity that has more than 20 years experience in the digital space, there was an immediate understanding of the vision and what could be accomplished if a synergy was created. The DNY group has nurtured a strong expertise in the arab web and developed many technologies in the field, though the accomplishments of various companies in its portfolio such as Cleartag.

Cloudfish is one of the most recent of these innovative and forward thinking entities, set to change the way we process data and how it aids businesses in the communications field.
