FPC Grad Opens New Architecture Firm in Flagler Beach

PALM COAST, Fla. - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Sean Palmer is pleased to announce that he has opened Palmer Studio Architecture & Interiors.

“It’s very gratifying to launch my business ‘home’ in Flagler County,” said Sean. “I’m proud to once again call this amazing place home and I look forward to a bright future dedicating myself to my craft, my family, and especially our community as it continues to grow and develop,” he added.

“Sean’s story underscores the value and talent of the young people we educate and graduate through our Flagler County School system,” said Charlie Helm, a long-time proponent of economic development and education in Flagler County. Palmer Studio shares a suite next to Helm’s Alliance Financial Partners, along with attorney Gail Lampert, in Flagler Beach. Helm has lived in the area for over 25 years. Sean is also focused on recruiting some of his classmates from FPC back to Flagler. “I’ve found there is an excitement growing once they find out we’ve moved back.  Then, they get curious and actively think about how they can make the same move,” said Sean.

Sean was born and raised in Flagler Beach. He attended Florida State University and Florida A&M University before earning a Bachelor in Architecture degree from Auburn University. While attending FSU, he travelled to Hong Kong and Nepal. The architecture programs at FAMU and AU afforded him opportunities to study abroad in Barcelona and Rome. He worked for three firms in Birmingham, Alabama. After working with ArchitectureWorks for the last four years on a variety of great projects, gaining lifelong friends and a lifetime of lessons-learned, he and his wife, Jen, have now fulfilled their dream of moving back home. Sean served on junior boards for Girls Inc. of Central Alabama and the Alabama Wildlife Center and now spends any spare time he has supporting causes championed by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach.

Palmer Studio is a full service architecture and interior design firm licensed to practice in both Florida and Alabama and can also practice in most other states through reciprocity. They offer residential and commercial planning and design for new construction and renovation projects.
