RIC sends back a good or bad “report card.” A good report means this renter is who she says she is. If there is any doubt, RIC will supply 3 questions an operator can ask to further validate that the person interested in renting a unit is who she says she is.

Renter’s Collision Protection makes it possible for self-storage operators to include a moving van along with the boxes, tape, furniture dollies and other moving product offerings. RCP provides collision protection for a renter whose own auto insurance might not cover a truck or van.

RCP is real collision insurance. It protects vans and trucks up to 10,000 GVW. It is the only collision protection product that can be offered at the counter, and is held in the customer’s name. It is sold by the day. In case of an accident, RCP will cover damages up to $20,000 with a $250.00 deductible.
