At Wybone we like to encourage recycling as much as we can, so we were more than happy to provide Sunny Hill School with our colourful Box Cycles.

WAKEFIELD, U.K. - Feb. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- As part of a wider recycling initiative at the school, Mrs Lindenmayer, Head of the school, wanted to get the children involved as much as possible. “As a school we are trying to help the children understand the concept of recycling and work together as a team for a planned objective. The children wanted to make an igloo and started off recycling old pieces of jigsaws to make small igloos of their own. This involved problem solving skills to work out how to plan a large igloo, how we would build it and how to make sure it would stand up etc.”

Mrs Lindenmayer continued, “the thought of a larger project inspired them to collect 629 four pint milk bottles for the project. The children took turns to build it and were delighted by the outcome. We also had a visit from Keep Britain Tidy, (http://www.keepbritaintidy.org/home/481) who thought it was fantastic!”

We’re pleased to have supported the children at Sunny Hill School and to have encouraged them to recycle the milk bottles into such a fun and rewarding project.

We offer a full range of recycling bins in all kinds of shapes and sizes; we can even make them with animal faces on or create your own bespoke artwork. Take a look at our range at www.wybone.co.uk and feel free to give our friendly sales team a call to discuss your requirements on 01226 744010.
