Summit Group Works Together to Make a Difference

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Jan. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- At Summit Group, we recognize the fact that many people are in need of help and make it a priority during the year to give back to those who need our support the most.

Throughout the Summer and into the Fall, Summit Group's associates banded together while reaching out to family, friends and the local community to raise funds for four worthy organizations: American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the STOP Hunger Program which is an initiative of Sodexo’s.

Over the course of roughly 4 months, Summit Group’s four divisions raised over $20,000. Through silent auctions, spirit days, team walks, bike rides and various other activities, we surpassed our goal and proudly donated the money earlier this month.

We’re incredibly grateful that organizations like these exist so that they can protect and care for those most in need.  It’s amazing what can happen when so many people come together for a common goal. We may have each felt as though our part was small, but together we’ve helped to make a huge difference in the lives of many.
