Starkey Mortgage Presents Starkey University’s First Graduating Class

PLANO, Texas - Jan. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Starkey Mortgage is proud to announce that Tyler Hickernell-Greensboro, NC, Dylan CasbonAtlanta, GA– NE Office, Brett Kiker – Charlotte, NC,  and Zach Davidson – Atlanta, GA – Central Office have all graduated from our very first Starkey University Boot Camp. The graduation ceremony took place at the corporate office here in Plano, TX on December 17, 2014.

Starkey Mortgage President Jim Clapp had this to say about the festivities. “Today we celebrated the very first graduation ceremony from Starkey University!  All four graduates are already licensed loan officers and are ready to show us how to sell mortgages to “Millennials”!  This is a great day for Starkey Mortgage and we look forward to watching them grow.   Please join me in congratulating our four graduates!”

Starkey University is a 13 week boot camp with a very strenuous curriculum. The students graduated from the XINNIX  program, which is broken up into three phases: Ground School which included a total of 10 courses divided into 55 individual lessons with a corresponding test, quiz, or comprehensive exam requiring a grade of 80% or better, Flight School, a program designed to train the students on how to speak to customers effectively with a cumulative final exam, and Officer School which is a sales training program designed specifically for new LOs. The majority of the XINNIX  program  was self-paced and demanded much discipline and commitment from our students.  Their training also included 6 full days of training with the instructors at Starkey University in the training center at our corporate office in Plano.
