AMD named a 'Fit-Friendly Worksite' for second year in a row by American Heart Association

MIRAMAR, Fla. - Jan. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- AMD, one of the United States' largest distributors of medical supplies and equipment, has once again been recognized for going above and beyond to encourage its employees to live healthier.

For the second year in a row, the American Heart Association (AHA) has named AMD as a "Fit-Friendly Worksite."  The AHA program recognizes companies that promote healthy lifestyles for employees, and create a work culture that encourages physical activity and other healthy habits.

To help its employees get "heart healthy," AMD has several ongoing programs, from group walks during lunchtime to rewards for those who make the most positive lifestyle changes.
