Customers Bank Bolstered by Growth Earnings

PHILADELPHIA - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Customers Bank, the banking subsidiary of holding company Customers Bancorp with Bhanu Choudhrie as the executive director has projected growth in estimated earnings per share in 2014 from $1.49 to $1.53 and $1.95 to $2.00.in 2015.

Speaking at the occasion, Jay Sidhu, CEO Customers Bank said, "Our increased estimate of future earnings reflects our success in executing our single point of contact supported by high tech strategy to provide quality services our customers love at a lower cost than our competitors, While we are on the right track, and our results to date and future expectations reflect our successes, we are still focused on reaching our two to three year goals of about a 1.0% return on assets, a 12.0% return on equity and efficiency ratio in the 40's."

Lately, Sidhu has also been chosen a 2014 Most Admired CEO Award recipient by the Philadelphia Business Journal in an event honouring the most influential movers and shakers of the region.

Sidhu joined when Customers Bank was slipping into cash-deficit and under him, the bank has gone on to extend its services from Boston to Washington into a $6.5 billion asset.  The turnaround has been phenomenal given the bank’s fortunes reversed in only a few years,

The event brought together 300 of the most influential corporate big hitters who had exuded outstanding leadership and was graced by keynote address by Tony Conti, former managing partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers who spoke on ‘ Driving impact in Business and the Community.’
