The Audition Date For "KidzAct High School Musical Jr." Has Been Changed

NAPLES, Fla. - Dec. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- KidzAct (http://naplesplayers.org/kidzactAbout.html), the youth theatre program of The Naples Players (http://naplesplayers.org), will hold auditions for High School Musical Jr. Jan. 10 at 12pm for ages 12 and older. Appointments are necessary, call 434-7340 ext. 10.

         Those auditioning will be asked to sing 16 bars of a song they have prepared. An

accompanist will be provided. Students should bring their own sheet music or a recording without vocals and will be asked to learn a choreographedmovement or dance routine and possibly be asked to read from the script.  Students unable to make the scheduled audition day and time should call to determine if additional audition times have been added.

         Performance classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays February 24 – May 14 and Saturday, May 2, 9 and 16. In addition, classes will be held Monday thru Thursday May 18 – 21. High School Musical Jr. will be performed Friday and Saturday, May 22 & 23, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South.

In High School Musical Jr. the students of East High learn to deal with issues of first love, friends, and family while balancing classes and extracurricular activities. Full of Infectious, danceable songs like “We’re All in This Together,” “Get’cha Head in the Game,” and “Bop to the Top” this spring extravaganza is sure to engage performers as well as audience goers.
