Studio Four Design Growing Again

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Dec. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Studio Four Design, Inc. continues to grow and is proud to announce the following staff additions.

Jacene England, AIA, joins the firm as a Project Manager. England has owned her own firm, Perspective Architecture, as well as working at both Michael Brady Architecture and Tetra Tech in Oak Ridge. In 2007 she was chosen as one of the Greater Knoxville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40." She's a past president of the American Institute of Architects East Tennessee Chapter President where she still remains actively involved. England is a Knoxville native and a graduate of the University of Tennessee.

Brian Nicholson, AIA LEED AP will also serve as a Project Manager, a position in which he has years of experience. Nicholson joins the firm after working at both Barber McMurry and Blankenship & Partners. He is a Farragut native and a 1994 graduate of the University of Tennessee. Brian is married to Tara Nicholson and the father of Noah and Lillian Nicholson.

Kimberlee Firkins is now a Job Captain. A New Jersey native who went to the University of Tennessee, Firkins soon became an adopted southerner. She interned at The Lewis Group, but eventually moved back to New Jersey to start a family, but found it just no longer felt like home, despite enjoying her work at Z+ Architecture, LLC. So the family headed back down to Tennessee and Kimberlee now joins Studio Four Design.

Katie Shulzis serving as an Interior Design Intern. Schulz is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a B.F.A. in Interior Design and a minor in Design for Sustainability. She also has a background in residential construction.
