StreetPass NYC Hosts 2014 Holiday Party at Bottleneck Gallery on December 19th

NEW YORK - Dec. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- StreetPass NYC Celebrates the end of 2014 with a Holiday Gathering for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games at the Bottleneck Gallery (60 Broadway, Brooklyn, New York 11249) on Friday, December 19th from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST!

StreetPass NYC would also like to take it's time to wish all Nintendo fans and Nintendo of America a Happy Holidays and we are looking forward for more events in 2015 including the release of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse for Wii U and Codename S.T.E.A.M. and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D on Nintendo 3DS!

=="GiftPass" Swap Rules==

This is our take on the classic Yankee Swap/White Elephant formula. Everyone who participates must bring in one wrapped gift, which will be placed in a central location. Then, the participants will draw from a hat to determine the order in which they will pick gifts.

The first player chooses and opens a wrapped gift for everyone to see. Each subsequent player may either choose a gift, or "steal" a gift that a previous player currently has. The player stolen from may then either take another player's gift, or choose from a wrapped gift. The process repeats until a player unwraps a new gift, and then it is the next player's turn.

However, players may not at any point pick the gift they brought with them. In addition, a gift can only be taken once within each turn, and twice during the course of the game, after which it can no longer be chosen.

Once every gift has been unwrapped, the first player has the option to swap their gift with any eligible gift left in the game. Then, the game is over. Enjoy your loot!

Wrapped gifts should be between $15 minimum and $30 maximum. Please do not bring shirts or gift cards of any kind (including Nintendo eShop cards). If an unwrapped gift is submitted, we will provide a bag or find another solution.
