Alice Sweet Alice Rings In The New Year With Global Distribution Of Single “MIA”!

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Star 1 Records has just announced the addition of Rock band Alice Sweet Alice to the lineup of talented artists that now encompass the innovative label’s roster.

Alice Sweet Alice boasts a genre-fusion with a stylistic diversity that the label is confident will be embraced by throngs of music lovers—adding to ASA’s already impressive fan base. The appeal of Alice Sweet Alive is apparent, and crosses over many listener’s tastes—whether those lie in Rock, Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Post Punk—and yet to be named genres.

Alice Sweet Alice’s already wildly-popular single “MIA” is the perfect “kick-off” for the arrival of ASA to the label. This particular selection brings not only meaningful lyrics and a memorable music, but an intriguing and moving backstory about a WWII widow named Peggy Harris who spent her life searching for her husband’s remains and her eventual “reunion” at his graveside in Normandy. Still newlyweds, Lt. Billie D. Harris went missing in action in France when his plane was shot down during the conflict. Mrs. Harris began an odyssey that spanned 60 years to find out what became of her beloved husband. The song “MIA” captures Mrs. Harris’s enduring love and longing for her missing husband.

“MIA” is set for world distribution on January 1, 2015 through INgrooves/Universal Music Group, being released to 100 countries and 750 retailers.
