Sundiata "The Lion King of Mali"

OAKLAND, Calif. - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Come see the epic tale of Sundiata "The Lion King of Mali", staged by Ousseynou Kouyate on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 7pm at Skyline High School's Rawley T. Farnsworth Theater, 12250 Skyline Boulevard, Oakland.

Witness how Sundiata, a child who once could not walk and was ridiculed by many, grew to become the legendary and powerful Lion King of Mali. Told through song, dance and story telling, this production is a definite must see for all ages!

An exciting first, Ile Omode School has partnered with Lyric Performing Arts Academy to bring this moving story to life. Students, kindergarten through 8th grade, and instructors from Ile Omode and Lyric Performing Arts Academy will share the stage for this wonderfully family-friendly event.
