Online Learning Marketplace Cafetalk Reaches 500 Tutor Milestone and Now Plans to Double Its Talent

By: Small Bridge Inc.

SAN FRANCISCO - Nov. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Cafetalk.com reached a new milestone last week: publishing the profiles of 500 diverse and eclectic tutors from around the world. Not only do these include language experts, professors, and businessmen, but also professional opera singers, actors, parkour athletes, and more. Small Bridge Inc., the Tokyo-based startup that runs Cafetalk, decided to celebrate this exciting new step just in time for Thanksgiving, by giving back to its students with a 3 day rebate campaign called “Appreciation Fest.”

Cafetalk has seen student registration and tutor applications soar since opening up new categories in non-language lessons. Although it started out in 2010 as a platform for Japanese people seeking private online English lessons, now the site offers over 20 languages and everything from music classes taught by Berklee graduates, to yoga, to birthing classes, to calligraphy.

Excited and optimistic about their future, the Cafetalk team is now opening up even more categories and preparing for its next goal: publishing 1000 tutor profiles. Interested tutors can apply here:  http://cafetalk.com/tutor/page/?t=p&lang=en
