Goedeker’s Partners with Circle of Concern

MANCHESTER, Mo. - Nov. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Goedeker’s, an online appliance retailer in Ballwin, Missouri, is showing their commitment to the community by partnering with local food pantry, Circle of Concern. In early October, Goedeker’s began a company food drive to help families during the holiday season.

In November, Goedeker’s adopted two families for Christmas through the pantry. Adopting a family means purchasing gifts for each member of the family, based on their wish lists, provided by Circle of Concern.

Goedeker’s made the decision to take a more active role in the community in September, and working with Circle of Concern was their first step towards that effort. The company, also known for its website, http://www.goedekers.com, hopes to continue working with Circle of Concern to make a difference in the lives of those in the local community.

About Circle of Concern

Circle of Concern (http://circleofconcern.org/) is a food pantry located in Valley Park, Missouri. What started as a small group of churches coming together to fight poverty turned into a full-fledged non-profit organization in 1967. Now, Circle of Concern works out of a building designed for their food pantry efforts and has a full staff with five employees. Every month, Circle of Concern feeds more than 2,000 men, women, and children.
