MUNDELEIN, Ill. - Nov. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Dining at Karma Asian Food & Fine Wine (510 East Route 83, Mundelein, IL; 847-0970-690) in Mundelein is always special and folks who frequent the restaurant have grown to follow its weekly specials as a way to experience delicious new offerings.

Oyster lovers will be thrilled with this week’s Oyster Duo featuring four East Coast oysters prepared to show delicious contrast. Two are served raw to experience its true flavor and two are served Rockefeller style. Adding an Asian twist, Chef Yé serves the oysters on a bed of seaweed salad and accompanies it with soy pearls and wasabi aioli, $16. Karma’s second special is Cashew Crusted Lamb, perfectly grilled and served on a bed of quinoa with sautéed sweet and sour Brussels sprouts with a mint and cucumber yogurt chutney, $24.

Karma and Karma Pub allow guests to order from each other’s menu. The result is that guests can have the best of two worlds—a choice of food and a choice of atmosphere. Both restaurants focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and purchase from local sources as much as
possible.

Third Course

•  Slow Roasted Turkey Breast – Cornbread Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Seven Herb Gravy, Orange Scented Cranberry Compote, Tahitian Vanilla Scented Haricot Vert

•  Asian BBQ Salmon – Shitake, Napa Cabbage, Spinach, Sesame Rice, Asian BBQ Sauce

Shuttle Available from Metra Stations

Guests wishing to travel to Karma by Metra may do so with ease. Confirm arrival time before departure with the restaurant and notify them of the station, Mundelein or Vernon Hills, and Karma will provide a complimentary shuttle pickup. The shuttle runs until 9 p.m.
