Griffin, DNP, FNP, Named New Vice President & CNO for Athol HospitalBy: Heywood Healthcare Ms. Griffin has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Pain and Palliative care, Oncology, and Rheumatology. She is certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds additional advanced certifications in the fields of Oncology, Hospice, Palliative care, and Pain management. She received her Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Associate’s Degree from Mt. Wachusett Community College. Prior to accepting the position as Vice President & CNO Griffin was the Director of Palliative Services and a Pain Consultant at Heywood Hospital as well as a Nurse Practitioner in the Oncology departments at both Heywood and Athol Hospitals. She will continue, on a limited basis, as a pain and palliative care consultant at both hospitals. Tina resides in Gardner with her husband Patrick. She is the daughter of Lorraine Manca and the late Peter J.
