Preparations continue for the 10th Annual NeSmith Crate Late Model World Championships.

OCALA, Fla. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- As the racing season for 2014 begins winding down across Florida for many tracks, the action at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala is about to pick up in a big way as the NeSmith Crate Late Models prepare for their 10th annual season finale $10,000 to Win World Championship Race!This will be the 3rd year that Bubba Raceway Park has hosted this prestigious National Event which draws the best Late Model drivers and fans from across the entire country to Florida’s historic and oldest racing facility, Bubba Raceway Park with its 3/8th mile semi banked, D shaped clay surface located in Ocala FL.  Legendary drivers such as “the Chattanooga Flash” Ronnie Johnson, “Dr. Dirt” Johnny Stokes, David Earl Gentry , Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, “Superman” Johnathan Davenport, “Kid Rocket” Josh Richards along with local contenders and fan favorites “The Professor” Ivedent Lloyd Jr, Mark “the Magic Man” Whitener, Doug Horton, Keith “The Catfish” Nosbisch, 12 year old Tony Stewart Racing development driver Tyler Clem and many many more will all be on hand for their chance at the $10,000 winner’s check in the 100 Lap feature event!

The two day show will start on Friday November 21st for qualifying and heats, with B-Mains and Features on the following day, Saturday November 22nd.  Also added to the event will be one of the fastest growing divisions in the southeast, E-Mods that will follow the same format.  A special purse with no additional registration or entry Fee, other than pit passes, has garnered attention from E-Mod drivers from the Florida-Georgia region with the payout as follows: $1000, $500, $250, $175, $150, $130, $125, $110, $100, $90, $70, $65, $60, $55 and $50 for the remainder of the field.  A non-qualifying race for E-Mods will also be held if car counts provide for a potential field of 10 or more cars.  Bubba Raceway Park will also have an open practice session available to drivers of all divisions and classes of any type on Thursday November 20th from 6pm till 10pm. Grandstands admission is FREE and pit passes will be $15 for the practice session.Concessions will be open and available for everyone at the practice session as well.
