M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering for Working Professionals

BANGALORE, India - Nov. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Aerospace engineering is a sophisticated and interdisciplinary field involving innovative technology and rewarding career opportunities. With the aerospace activities gaining worldwide recognition, there has been a great demand for qualified Aerospace Engineers. In order to fulfill the requirements of the working professionals, International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management, Jain University has conceived and designed M.Tech Aerospace Engineering programme in consultation with employers such as Aircraft Industries (India & abroad), Aerospace R&D, Airlines, Airports and Academic Institutions.

The programme is targeted towards executives who have been working in organizations for at least two years after graduation and have plans to continue in the organizations. The programme provides professionals an opportunity to pursue professional and academic growth.

Faculty members with experience in aerospace industry and academia (IITs, IISc & Universities of USA) are a part of this programme. This course is unique because of the involvement of the faculty members, which has made practical aspects come into focus rather than just theory.

The eligibility criteria for the candidate is a pass percentage in the prescribed qualifying degree examination or equivalent with not less than 50% (for SC/ST 45%) in the aggregate is necessary.

The last day to apply for this course is 26 December 2014.

Students are required to undertake an entrance test in order to qualify for the course.

The test will be conducted at Jain University, School of Graduate Studies, J C Road campus on 11 January 2015.
