| Christie’s Technology Displays at SEG 2014 Optimal for Visualizing Seismic DataCompany sponsors SHPCP theater presentations and demonstrates visual technology solutions at eight industry-leading company booths

Included is a presentation by Mary Cole, Halliburton product manager, on High Resolution Displays in Oil and Gas with key findings from human perception and user-experience research, followed by a discussion on implications for using these large displays to maximal effect to improve subsurface understanding. Satyam Priyadarshy, Ph.D., Halliburton chief data scientist, will present his abstract Taking Exploration Geophysics to a Next Level with Big Data. He will discuss key challenges and approaches to resolving the challenges with the high degree of complexity in creating value from the geophysical, seismic, and related data sets, and how the complexities could be alleviated by leveraging the four foundational legs of Big Data. On Oct 28, at 3:30 p.m., in the SEG –SHPCP Theater, Steve Lutz, senior sales manager for Christie’s visual environments, will speak about several new technologies being utilized in visualization applications including new user interfaces, auto alignment and display technologies. Rental and staging company Data Display Audio Visual, will provide many products including Christie MicroTiles configured in various shapes and sizes to create captivating digital canvases for these leading-company booths.
