College of Business Administration Students to Compete in TechColumbusBy: Kent State University The Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards is a global competition for students who actively run a business. The Global Student Entrepreneur nominees compete in qualifying competitions for a chance to compete in the Global Finals in Washington D.C. on April 15-17. Jordan’s organization, Flight 4 The Cure, gives a portion of their profits they make from selling handmade crocheted scarves and bracelets to University Hospitals in Cleveland. Bowles organization, Blackwolf Tactical, allows police to turn any physical location into a reactive training environment triggered by actions and decisions of the officers. “The GSEA Competition is an incredible opportunity to present my business to a much larger audience, potentially on a national and international stage,” Bowles said. “The exposure and feedback alone will be an excellent launching point to move Blackwolf Tactical to the next level. I'm really excited to represent both Kent State and Northeast Ohio at the GSEA Competition.” The winner from TechColumbus will go on to Illinois to compete nationally and from there, three students will be sent to Washington D.C. for the international round.
