Staff At Daresbury-Based d&d Recruit Ltd To Run Santa Dash In Aid Of Halton Haven Hospice

RUNCORN, U.K. - Oct. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Dean said “We want to do our bit to help out such a wonderful, worthy cause. It seems that most people in the area know of someone who has needed the help of the Hospice and the staff need funds to keep the Hospice running all year long.
Plus of course, the “Santa Dash” is fun to participate in – and to watch! It’s fair to say we already have the festive spirit at d&d Recruit - we just can’t wait to get started and take part in such a fabulous event with hundreds of others “Santa’s”. Of course, we’ll share some photos of us all in our Santa costumes on our website after the event”!

Runners in the Santa Dash have to dress up in Father Christmas costumes and complete the 3-mile run from Widnes to Runcorn, which includes running across the Runcorn-Widnes Silver Jubilee Bridge.

As d&d Recruit’s Just Giving page explains, the Hospice is a registered charity and the staff provide palliative care through a range of services to individuals and also provide support for their families in Widnes, Runcorn and surrounding areas. The Hospice aims to relieve the sickness, suffering and distress of people resulting in particular from cancer & other terminal illnesses.
