BOCA RATON, Fla. - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The South Florida chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers® (NAPO) is joining with IKEA Sunrise to help the South Florida community clear their clutter, learn tips to better organize their home and/or office, and overall revolutionize their spaces!

WHAT: National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) South Florida presents “Clear Your Clutter” event

WHEN: Saturday, October 18, 2014; Outdoor Shredding & Collections to take place 10:00am to 12:00pm; In-Store Organizing Expo to take place 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Organizing Workshops: 1pm – “Be a Goal Setter and a Goal Getter” with Angela Fredrich CPO®; 2pm – “How to Declutter Your Home in Two Weekends” with Laura Johnston; and 3pm – “Organized Apps: Technology in Your Busy Life” with Bonnie Edson.

WHERE: IKEA Sunrise, 151 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise, FL, 33325

DETAILS: The NAPO South Florida “Clear Your Clutter” event will include the following activities:

- Meet & Greet 20 South Florida professional organizers with expertise in financial, home, garage, move-in, technology, and closet organization

- Expert tips and tricks courtesy of the organizers

- Three FREE Organizing Workshops

- Makeover/Gift Card giveaways and raffle prizes

- Food Samples

- From 10am to 12pm, The Salvation Army and Feeding South Florida will be on-site to accept donations of gently-used items and canned/dry goods; Iron Mountain will also be present and accepting up to five boxes of paper per car for shredding.

PHOTO & INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITITES: Customers, South Florida residents walking around IKEA store and receiving organizing advice; workshops featuring organizers and interested “students”; South Florida residents shredding and donating items outside near IKEA Sunrise parking garage.
