Grand Bahama Island Welcomes Peter Nygard

TORONTO - Oct. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Michael Darville and Carl Rothiech, of Grand Bahama Ship Yard, welcome billionaire fashion designer Peter Nygard at the private section of the Freeport International Airport, July 18.

He was met by the Grand Bahama Minister Michael Darville, members of Grand Bahama Ministry of Tourism, Grand Bahama Port Authority VIPs, and other local dignitaries.

Peter Nygard became a Bahamian in the early 80's and lives there to this day with other family members. He is an environmentalist, a humanitarian and has been described as the most philanthropic champion for the Bahamian people. He is known for his passion in seeking protection of the environment, especially around Nygard Cay.
