Follow on Google News | Charmingly Sincere Web Series About Dating In Your 20s Takes Taboo Topic of PTSD Head On With ScThe screening of two episodes of the Things Left Unsaid web series at Oxnard Public Library brings the subject of PTSD to the forefront of discussion.
The Oxnard Public Library screening will be the first time viewers will be able to see the entire second episode of Things Left Unsaid, which was crowdfunded using IndieGoGo last year. The screening is available due to the Oxnard Public Library winning a grant from Cal Humanities: War Comes Home and is part of a series of events at the library. Near and dear to the entire cast and crew behind the web series, Benjamin Elterman, a writer on the series, screenwriter, and playwright, and lead actor Johnathan Hurley, an actual veteran with PTSD and actor from award-winning independent film Echo Dr., will be on hand to answer questions after the viewing of both episode one and two. “It’s just a story that people of all ages need to see to understand,” The Things Left Unsaid web series screening will occur at the Oxnard Public Library Main Branch as a free event Thursday, September 18th at 4:30pm and conclude with a Q&A session for the production members on hand at the event.
