Smart Health Talk Radio Show on KCAA 1050 AM in Southern California’s Inland Empire, but can be heard from anywhere at KCAAExpress.com or TuneIn/USTREAM apps every Thursday from 4-5:00 pm had the pleasure of interviewing the Green Festival National President Dr. Corianne Baslar and the LA Green Festival Director Pascale Coupal-Sikes along with two exhibitors David Savage from Daiya Vegan Foods, and Lisa Bronner from Dr. Bronners Magical Soaps this Thursday before the LA Green Festival opening with a link to the interview and the event available on our website homepage.
Found out from our distinguished guests that there is something for everyone at the LA Green Festival with live action from speakers, cooking demos, yoga, fashion shows, and many other ways to add some green to your life. Exhibitors give us all kinds of ways to GO GREEN.
Many don’t realize that “Going Green” and simplifying your life can also mean big savings as less needed less spent. LA Green Festival exhibitors have all the tools you need to get started and the convenience to shop right there at the festival and take them home.
Besides finding help with needs for home and family, you may also discover a green treasure that is perfect for you!. Something new and exciting that could end up changing your life! Those are the kinds of things that have been known to happen at this event.
Yes the LA Green Festival can improve lives with new knowledge and skills learned from speakers and exhibitors. There is so much going on in the world that is kept from us in our average store or news sources such as television, but is there and you'll find it right there at the Green Festival.
Then there is THE FOOD!
Not only are there all kinds of sample products, but samples of food too. If you always wanted to add more meatless meals or just go healthier, your trip to the LA Green Festival will take your information level to a totally new place. Vegetarian, raw, and vegan food choices have went through a major evolution so plan to be amazed with not only how they look, but taste.
You could be eating a vegan, gluten free pizza and you won’t even know it! Discover food in a whole new light, and your kids too.
Sometimes it can be easier to help get your kids off a junk food kick and liking fruits and veggies by exposing them to an event like this. At the LA Green Festival they get a chance to try new foods without the direction of parents so kids can feel like they’re making their own decisions about what they like and don’t like. You have to try it to like it so a chef or exhibitor might be able to do what is harder at home, get kids to try something new, and have them walk away liking many more healthy options.
We set such strong patterns for adult eating habits when our children are kids so that is the time when we also have a chance to prevent them from having a heart attack or getting cancer as an adult. Foods not found in television commercials are actually the ones you should always avoid and instead look for other foods without the toxic and artificial ingredients that allow food producer to replace real ingredients and increase profit margins to afford commercials. These never heard of foods can be just as fun if not funner because they are exotic and/or deliver on real food flavor.
If you like samples and trying new stuff you are going to want to arrive when the doors open at 10:00 am because there is LOTS OF SAMPLES and things to try and take home. Better bring a big bag to put all those samples too because it will be full by the end of the day.
You will leave the LA Green Festival with the kinds of lifestyle changes that can also save lives, but you could also leave with a new member to your family as Best Friends Animal Alliance NO KILL animal shelter will be there with pets to adopt. There is no doubt these little guys are wishing for a good home and a family to love them to so don't let them down. The people behind this shelter are special themselves so please support their efforts.
The lineup of greening your life teachers for today is massive with speakers and demos on yoga, dance, Kids for Positive Change will be speaking, making the best vegan burger from a top chef, learn why hemp is Earth Medicine, how to become a leader for sustainable development, how to bring good energy to others through laughter and love, go shopping for eco friendly products, eat lunch at the food pavilion that will not exactly be like the one at the mall, and get refreshments for adults at the Beer and Wine Pavilion!
Have you ever tried an organic wine or beer? They are full of clean flavor and missing many not so great ingredients found in other brands like pesticides, GMOs, and sulfites. Experience has proven that a less than $20 bottle of organic wine to be as pallet pleasing as a $100 bottle of conventional so you may want to try it and find out what you’ve been missing.
Organic may be the new way to impress your friends with something special to drink and eat because isn’t life supposed to be full of new experiences and taste sensations! There will be plenty of special things to experience and maybe even a little magic when you go to the LA Green Festival today from 10-6:00 pm at the LA Convention Center. Tickets available at the gate for $15 with everyone under 16 year old or on a bicycle getting in free with special discounts for students, seniors, and vets.
You won’t want to miss this event, and it may even change your life and put you on a new path to health, wellness and prosperity because health is wealth. Don’t deprive yourself or your family of this opportunity to help protect their health and our planet as it can feel and taste really good.
