College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office to hold Fall Kick-off Event

KENT, Ohio - Sept. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Kent State University’s College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office will be hosting a Fall Kick-off event Tuesday, Sept. 9 and Wednesday, Sept. 10.

The Fall Kick-off event, “Coffee, Cupcakes & Careers,” allows students to learn more about the Career Services Office, meet the Career Advising Staff and become familiar with the benefits the office can provide.

The event will feature four career stations: the opportunity to take a free, professional head shot, career dress etiquette, experience profile assistance and interviewing do’s and don’ts.

“These stations are a quick glimpse of the types of activities our office provides to help students as they engage with professionals and begin to network for future employment,” said Mandy McNamee, internship coordinator for the College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office. “We hope to see all students; from freshman to graduating seniors so they become familiar with how the Career Services Office can support them at all stages as they prepare for their professional life beyond college.”

There will also be a chance to win lunch with College of Business Administration Dean Deborah Spake.

The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 10. The event will take place in the third floor lobby of the Business Administration building.
