Much to the protagonist’s chagrin, his career fizzles nearly as soon as it begins. And, the starry-eyed cutie, continues his belief in acting so he enrolls in school following the advisement of his manager. Unfortunately, the gold-digging mother of his only child puts her seductive plan in motion to secure a future without him. She works arduously to achieve her goals while keeping him at bay. And, that is just the first chapter."
