Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Appoint Allyson Quinn to the Position of Executive Coordinator

Bay State Veteran and Survivor Non-Profit Organization Expands with New Hire

BOSTON - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Boston, MA (August 26, 2014) – Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, a (501)(c)(3) public charity dedicated to aiding local veterans and families of the fallen while fighting the War on Terror since September 11, 2001 is proud to announce the hiring of Allyson Quinn as the organization’s Executive Coordinator.

“As we continue to grow and expand the breadth of advocacy services provided to local veterans and families of the fallen it is going to be a tremendous asset to have an individual as dedicated to serving those in need as Allyson,” said Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Executive Director, Dan Magoon.

With Mass Fallen Heroes, Quinn will maintain and build databases as needed. Assist in targeting short and long term goals in regards to event and fundraising initiatives and support the Mass Fallen Heroes upcoming groundbreaking for a first-of-its-kind permanent public memorial to honor the Commonwealth’s brave men and women who have lost their lives in service while fighting the War on Terror since September 11, 2001 at the new Seaport Square Park in South Boston.

In addition to her time with Mass Fallen Heroes, Quinn works for Boston City Councilor District 3 (Dorchester) as a research and policy assistant and community liaison. Quinn is currently working with Councilor Baker on initiatives to provide support and resources to victims of the Commercial Sex Trade and providing resources to Youth Recovery.

Most recently, Quinn spent seven years at Boston Financial Data Services in Quincy as a Senior Control Specialist for mutual funds dividend, input and output reconciliation. Quinn received a Master's in Applied Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston where she formally lectured Drugs and Society. Quinn currently resides in Dorchester with her husband and three daughters.
