Mayer Realty Group Participates in Loving Locals Initiative to Support Simcha Restaurant

SHARON, Mass. - April 28, 2020 - PRLog -- Mayer Realty Group is participating in the Loving Locals initiative to help raise money for Simcha restaurant by pledging a $1,000 maximum cash donation, while rallying Sharon residents to make gift card purchases of any denomination, with the idea of getting total gift card purchases up to $1,000 as well. Sharon residents, and others in surrounding towns that would like to support Mayer Realty Group's efforts, can purchase Simcha gift cards through their website.

"The team over at Simcha are making the necessary sacrifices to ensure the safety of their staff, and the safety of loyal customers who are still ordering takeout and delivery, but we know it's not business as usual for them," said Melissa Mayer, principal at Mayer Realty Group. "We're a couple weeks away from the dine-in ban being lifted, so we hope the combined efforts of our team and Sharon residents will help bridge the financial burden gap until then."

Loving Locals was launched by Boston-based PR and marketing agency, DPA Communications, to encourage small businesses across the state to support their favorite hometown restaurant after seeing the success one of its clients had when doing the same for one of their restaurant clients. This led DPA Communications to take action and encourage other small businesses across the state to replicate the same initiative for a favorite restaurant in its hometown.

DPA Communications is spearheading the call-to-action, accepting emails from businesses who want to participate on behalf of a specific restaurant. If a small business would like to participate, but doesn't have a specific restaurant in mind, DPA will provide a few options for the business to choose from. Extra consideration will be given to restaurants who made the difficult decision to stop takeout and delivery, shutting down operations completely to ensure staff and employees are home, healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
