New Chef, New Menu at Pierpont Inn
Adrian Mora is now the executive chef at the historic Wyndham Garden Ventura Pierpont Inn after 11 years in Las Vegas working for Caesar’s Entertainment.
Mora’s menu items highlight produce from local farms and fish caught daily just off the coast. His dishes include an assortment of herbs grown in gardens on the hotel property. “The menu is very focused on seafood and fresh produce,” says Mora.

Austen's is known for its panoramic views and coastal dining along with accepting groups of up to 50 people. A new feature at the restaurant is outdoor patio seating. Also in the works at Austen’s is a remodeled lounge and live music in the evenings.
For Mora, coming from the desert and 100 plus degree-days, VenturaCountyWest is a breath of fresh air. “The weather is in the 70s just about all the time,” says Mora. “It’s much better than the heat of Las Vegas.”
