Anacapa Dental Art Institute Prosthodontist to Speak in London About Implant Dentistry

OXNARD, Calif. - July 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Dr. Saj Jivraj, a prosthodontist with the Anacapa Dental Art Institute in Southern California, will be speaking to a group of young dentists in London on June 27, 2014.

A native of England himself, Dr. Jivraj is excited to appear before approximately 150 members of the London Dental Study Club’s vocational training scheme. He will, of course, be speaking about his area of expertise -- aesthetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Jivraj’s reputation has garnered him international acclaim for his work in the field of prosthodontics. During a recent trip to India (his third in recent months), he was asked to lecture on and demonstrate a full-mouth restoration. He was also a featured speaker in Mumbai at the conference of the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists.

Additionally, Dr. Jivraj spoke earlier this year at the Academy of Osseointegration’s 29th annual meeting, and provided a two-day training session in Yorba Linda, CA, at Nobel Biocare’s facility.

Being in demand is nothing new for Dr. Jivraj. After earning his degree from the University of Manchester in England, he went on to train in advanced implantation techniques, and was chairman of the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry (Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry section).

He quite literally “wrote the book” on implant dentistry, as co-author of the internationally-recognized and widely-used textbook, “Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry,” and maintains an active presence in trade journals and magazines.

Even amid this busy schedule, Dr. Jivraj is always eager to speak to the next generation of prosthodontists, as he will on June 24. “I'm honored to be asked to speak to these young students. I hope to encourage them to put their patients first and never stop learning," says Dr. Jivraj.

The Anacapa Dental Art Institute has been providing prosthodontic, cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry to patients since 1996. The Institute also provides "gentle dentistry" for patients over the age of 50.
