The New River Auto Mall’s OMG Car for Free! Giveaway Winner Announced

July 22, 2014 - PRLog -- When Lisa Kim Hom arrived at the New River Auto Mall (http://www.newriverautomall.com/contact-us/) she boldly stated, “I am going to win a new car TODAY," and that’s just what she did. Ms. Hom successfully competed with 10 finalists on July 17 in a multi-round game of chance to emerge triumphant in the OMG Car for Free! Giveaway.

Ms. Hom originally entered the contest when she was having the oil changed on her current car at the New River Auto Mall several weeks ago. She was so sure that she would win the OMG Car for Free! Giveaway that on the day of the event she brought her daughter along with her in order to drive her current vehicle home as she drove the new car herself.

“We couldn’t be more happy for Lisa,” said Warner Peacock, President and CEO of the New River Auto Mall. “She was certainly the star of the show, and we know she will appreciate her new car.”

As the winner, Ms. Hom had her choice of a 2014 Mazda3 Sport Sedan, a 2014 Dodge Dart SE, a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage ES, a 2014 Nissan Versa Note S Manual, a 2014 Hyundai Accent GS, or a 2014 Jetta S. It was a tough choice, but she decided on the Hyundai Accent.

“We want to congratulate Lisa Kim Hom for a game well played,” said Hilton Head Hyundai General Manager Angelo Minichiello. “The 2014 Accent is a terrific car, fun to drive, comfortable, and loaded with the latest tech features. We think she made the right choice.”

The atmosphere around the New River Auto Mall was more like that of a TV game show than that of an automobile dealership on July 17, as contestants and on-lookers alike were caught up in the excitement and enthusiasm. The 10 finalists, who were randomly selected from 100 semi-finalists on the day of the event, faced off in a series of elimination games in pursuit of the grand prize—a brand new car!

Other prizes that were awarded included a GoPro Hero3 Camera and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 to one first-prize winner, a Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 for two of the second-prize winners, and assorted branded merchandise such as hats, mugs, and t-shirts to six third-prize winners.
