Tnternational watch auction Timepeaks have increased the number of languages the site supports

SHIBUYA-KU, Japan - July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Leatherball, Inc., who run the Japan-based international watch auction Timepeaks, have increased the number of languages the site supports.

The existing Japanese and English versions are now joined by Chinese (both simplified and traditional), French, German, Italian, and Spanish, bringing the total number of languages supported to eight.

** Background to multilingual support

Up to now, Timepeaks has operated auctions in Japanese and English but has received an increasing number of winning bids from overseas, so in order to allow more users to take part in our auctions it was decided to set up pages in the native languages of people in other countries. As the first step in July 2014, six languages have been added (Chinese - both simplified and traditional, French, German, Italian, and Spanish).

Another five languages (Portuguese, Korean, Russian, Indonesian, and Thai) will be added before the end of this year.

Currently, more than 60% of the winning bids are from outside Japan. Users are taking part in Timepeaks auctions from 31 countries, including across Asia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France.

The service was established in 2012 with the launch of the Japanese site (http://timepeaks.jp), followed by the launch of the English language site (http://timepeaks.com).

Currently items can be submitted for auction on Timepeaks only within Japan, and in order to submit them the products only have to be delivered to Timepeaks (in Shibuya, Tokyo).

It is possible to easily sell your items online without having to set up your own sales process or deal with customers.

We only charge the buyer a 5% handling fee. Before the winner of the Timepeaks auction buys the watch, it is appraised for authenticity by an expert, so the auction only handles 100% authentic products.

And while it is an online auction, a feature of Timepeaks is that the products can be inspected beforehand in Shibuya.
