“Who’s Driving Who?” Contest Winner to be Announced at Pet Party

July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- To promote their pet-friendly environment and to find the star of future advertising campaigns, the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside is currently hosting a contest called “Who’s Driving Who?” (http://www.theautobarnsubaru.com/whos-driving-contest/) Participants are encouraged to submit the cutest picture of their dog by posting it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #PetParty2014 by August 15, 2014.

The winner of this contest will be announced during the Pet Party parade on August 21, 2014. They will receive VIP treatment from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., $1,000 cash, and the winning dog will become the new face of Autobarn advertisements. The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside Pet Party will have vendors, a live DJ, a photo booth, and various forms of entertainment throughout the evening.

The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside is an advocate for the proper care of animals and is considered a pet-friendly local Subaru dealership. Over the years, they have supported and hosted a broad spectrum of animal-related events. This past May, the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside sponsored the Jesse White Tumblers, who entertained audiences during the 68^th Annual La Grange Pet Parade. On December 14, 2013, the dealership hosted their first annual Furry Foto Pet Event, which allowed families to celebrate the holidays with their pets. Pets could get their pictures taken with Santa Claus, and a Facebook photo contest was held where pictures were posted online for the public to vote on.

Supporting pet adoption and adoption agencies is another important goal of the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside. The dealership is a proud supporter of this year’s Windy City Pet Expo on July 19 at the Odeum Expo Center. Families can bring their pets to the Windy City Pet Expo for discount vaccinations, fun contests with the chance to win prizes, and the chance to explore various pet supply vendors. There will also be adoption agencies present to provide families with the opportunity to be a forever-home for a lucky pet.
