Furry Foto Pet Event This Saturday at Autobarn Subura

Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The holidays are a time for family, and one of the biggest part of most families is a furry friend. Chicagoland Subaru dealerships, like the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside, are providing communities with a fun opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their favorite pet at the Furry Foto Pet Event (http://www.theautobarnsubaru.com/furry-foto-pet-event/).

On Saturday, December 14^th, a professional photographer, Santa, and a holiday backdrop will all be at the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside, where families and pets can have photos taken from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. This event is absolutely free with no obligations. Families can dress up, including their pets, in holiday attire for the photo. Their showroom is conveniently located at 6191 Joliet Road in Countryside.

In addition, the WTMX radio team will post the pictures from the Furry Foto Pet Event for a Facebook voting contest. The picture that receives the most votes will win a $250 gift certificate. After the picture is taken, families will be given a code to access their picture online. Event participants are also encouraged to bring in a toy or donation for a homeless pet in need.

The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside has been an advocate for pet adoption awareness, and they have participated in a variety of community events that involve pets in need of a home. This year’s Windy City Pet Expo featured numerous companies and participants, including the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside. This event took place at the Odeum Expo Center this past summer on July 20^th and it featured several pet adoption agencies, as well as pet-friendly services. Those who attended were encouraged to bring their pets for a day of fun activities and the chance to win prizes.

The PAWS Adoption Event (http://www.theautobarnsubaru.com/community-involvement/) was held at the Autobarn Subaru of Countryside and featured assistance from WTMX 101.9 FM The Mix, as well. Several dogs found new and loving homes thanks to the Autobarn Subaru and PAWS of Chicago.
