Is there something about the term 'Knife-o-phobia' in Denmark? What does aichmophobia mean?

Nyttigbras will embrace innovative methods in order to achieve our goal, i.e lowering the general misunderstanding about the knife law, using clear texts, feedback and communication.

GRÅSTEN, Denmark - July 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Nyttigbras is a new authorized Danish web shop that resells top quality products to Danish consumers.

In order to become a business success, it is crucial to ‘know the rules of the game’.

A business must know its competitors and any obstacles that potentially can become a ‘show-stopper’.

Denmark among other countries has a very strict law in terms of carrying a knife in public.

Of course, general public safety is a high priority. No doubt, it or any objections, safety is a high concern and it should always be a top priority.

In almost every society around the world, we see that violent behavior among people in general and young people in particular unfortunately is growing rapidly.

A society always wants to protect its citizens, and the most obvious immediate method is through legislation in order to do so.

It is not that long ago, that we could read in the news, about a young man here in Denmark, who was sentenced 7 days of prison for having two hobby knives in his car, meant for using at his job, where he had to cut up used cardboard boxes at the petrol station where he worked every morning.

7 days of prison were bad enough for forgetting to take out the knives, but the worst part was that with a sentence for offenses against the law, his future dreams of getting a police officer were ruined!

For the record, there were no signs of him wanting to use the knives for anything criminal, the knives were found during a routine control of his car.

Such events, of course, lead to a general public fear, almost a kind of phobic behavior – which means people in general keep a distance to knives and avoid buying them. Aichmophobia - Fear of knives and other sharp objects:P

Our Danish distributor came up with a brilliant idea and concept, in order to prevent Danish people to panic when they consider purchasing a quality knife or multi-tool. We must emphasize one more time; it is our distributor who developed this brilliant concept.

In short, knives and multi-tools are specially designed for the Danish market.

24/7 means that the knife blade is less than 7 cm, and cannot be locked in an unfolded position

PROF means that the knife blade is more than 7 cm and / or it can be locked in unfolded position.

Nyttigbras will cooperate as hard as possible, in an attempt to enlighten Danish people about the concept.

As an authorized reseller, Nyttigbras is obligated to provide as much information as possible about the Danish knife law, and the special options we provide in terms of tools and knifes.

It is our hope that we are able to lower the general ‘knife-o-phobia’ condition and encourage people to buy more knives and multi-tools in a higher scale than currently.

Nyttigbras will embrace innovative methods in order to achieve this goal, using clear texts, feedback and communication.
