| ![]() Peabody rises to the rent arrears challenge with MobysoftMobysoft’s Housing Intelligence product RentSense is helping Housing Association Peabody to provide targeted support to tenants affected by Welfare Reform.
By: Mobysoft Ltd As a social landlord, Peabody is on the front-line of Welfare Reform, and is striving to support residents in managing the impact of the reforms on their lives, by providing budgeting advice, help with appropriate financial products and services, and bespoke employment training and advice. Working with Mobysoft, it has implemented RentSense - a unique rent arrears decision engine which uses complex algorithms to analyse accounts and pinpoint which cases need further attention. This gives Peabody the insight to better support those affected, and use resources more efficiently. Early indications show the technology could result in a time saving of 30%, allowing Peabody’s income team to focus on proactive tenant engagement. Joe Joseph, Director of Resident Services at Peabody commented: “We see the impact of Welfare Reform every day, and are always looking at how to better support those affected. We’re very much looking forward to working with Mobysoft on this initiative. Due to the implementation of RentSense and the hard work carried out by our team, the preliminary results look good, and over time I'm confident we can reduce our arrears target even further.” Derek Steele, Mobysoft MD, added: "Mobysoft are delighted to be working with Peabody as they embark on this great period of change. With our innovative RentSense product we have helped Housing Associations across the UK tackle Welfare Reform head on, improving both efficiency levels and revenue collection." End
