WiMAX Forum to Host WiMAX Africa 2014 at AfricaCom
Pre-conference event designed for operators to share best practices for profitable 4G networks
By: WiMAX Forum
WiMAX Africa 2014 will present an opportunity for all participants to meet, exchange ideas, and develop business and cooperative relationships. Both operators and vendors will benefit from roundtable discussions on topics including the WiMAX Advanced roadmap – supporting multi-platform deployments for both WiMAX and LTE – and emerging markets such as Aviation, Utilities, and Oil & Gas.
Said WiMAX Forum President and CEO, Declan Byrne, “In a unique telecom environment, the WiMAX community faces a host of challenges. WiMAX Africa 2014 will give all of its attendees a better understanding of where the industry is headed and how operators can thrive in the face of change.”
Participation in this event is free and open to all participants of the WiMAX ecosystem. Membership in the WiMAX Forum is not a requirement to attend.
