FREDERICK, Md. - June 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Dr Ayesha Nawab joined PearlFection Dentistry in Frederick Maryland with Dr Mullen, Dr Stringer and Dr Patel in June of 2014.  To prepare for the addition of Dr Nawab, the decision was made to invest in the most modern surgical equipment on the market, including digital panoramic x-ray system, life support equipment, sedation dentistry equipment, upgraded hand pieces, and digital x-rays.  The practice purchased the advanced equipment, to ensure we had the best equipment on the market and the best doctors to operate it, so we can provide the best and safest dental care around.  These new pieces of equipment and technology allow the doctors and their assistants to perform advanced dentistry, including surgery with the most modern dental equipment and therefore give the patient the greatest prognosis of a good clinical outcome.

We asked Dr EJ Stringer why the decision was made to bring on a surgeon.  She said “The decision to bring on Dr Nawab was driven by our patients’ request to have more procedures done at the practice.  In the past, we sent out most of our extractions, IV sedation patients, implant placements, and biopsies to surgeons not affiliated with our practice and across town.  Our patients never really liked having to do that and they just felt more comfortable staying at our practice on Thomas Johnson Drive.  Now instead of going out to have these procedures done, we’ll have them all performed in house.  By bringing on Dr Nawab, we are able to have a specialist in the practice who is truly one of the best oral surgeons in the state and region.  Our practice and our patients are very lucky to have her.  Did I mention she is both an MD and a dentist who received both her medical degree (MD) and her dental degree (DDS) at Harvard University and ran the surgical residency program at the University of Texas - Houston  and was a researcher on the cutting edge in dental technology.  She’s the total package and having her on our team will really broaden the dental procedures we can offer to our patients.”
