XTRF scores a European Union grant

June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- The project known as xContinuo is funded from the Innovative Economy program priority: Research and Development of Modern Technology and is expected to end in September 2015. The purpose of the project is to develop technologies that will ensure operation continuity, extreme data security and seamless experience for TMS class systems. XTRF - a multi-layered, enterprise-class system - will be adapted to operate in a highly distributed architecture model for cloud computing and collaboration with the so-called Intercloud. To convert this into non-geek language: the goal of the project is to improve the level of experience for the end-users of the TM system.

The project is a part of a 4-year development plan aiming at a real technology breakthrough in the translation market. The previously received capital from the investment fund will be used toward adjusting the system to modern UX trends and the development of integration between diverse translation technologies.
