Lake Placid Writer Stirs Audience at The Villages Tea Party

LAKE PLACID, Fla. - June 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Lake Placid resident Mack Payne spoke at The Villages Tea Party meeting on Monday, June 2, 2014. This was in keeping with his practice of speaking to patriotic groups across the South East where he issues his prescription for keeping America great.

The Villages Tea Party is one of the largest tea party organizations in the country and hosts many prominent speakers. It recently sponsored an event that welcomed Dr. Ben Carson when he stopped off in The Villages during his nationwide book tour.

Payne used his years of speaker training and held the audience spellbound as he told stories from his book, Vietnam Veteran Memoirs. He described events that occurred over 40 years ago to illustrate how current developments in the country today can be approached. He primarily emphasized the importance of voting and how all Americans owe a debt of gratitude to all the veterans who died to keep this country safe and should gladly preform the most basic duty of citizenship by excercising our right to vote in every election.

His next speaking engagement is scheduled for June 16^th at the South Mississippi Tea Party meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi
