Yoga Garden Ridgefield Location Grand Opening Celebration, June 19-21, 2014

VANCOUVER, Wash. - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Yoga Garden Opens Second Location in Ridgefield, Wash., Grand Opening Celebration June 19 - 21, 2014

(RIDGEFIELD, Wash.) — Yoga Garden will host a Grand Opening Celebration of its new 1200 square foot space location in Ridgefield, Wash., June 19 - 21, 2014. The 3-day event kicks off on June 19 from 4-8 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 with Ridgefield Mayor Pro Tem, Lee Wells, and the Ridgefield Business Association.  Food, beverages, and entertainment will be provided by Ridgefield establishments, and a local food and clothing drive will be hosted throughout the event by Yoga Garden.

The festivities include food from Ridgefield’s Pioneer Street Cafe and Bakery and Battle Ground’s Golden Tusk Thai Cuisine restaurant. Music will be provided by Ridgefield’s Opus School of Music, plus Battle Ground musician John Baker. Free chair massages will be given by Sage Organics of Ridgefield. The celebration continues with free yoga classes on Friday and Saturday, June 20-21.  Yoga Garden will also be collecting donations to support Ridgefield’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors, the city’s local food and clothing bank. Most urgently needed items include canned and boxed food, clean clothing, usable toys, small handheld appliances, and bedding. Monetary donations for the facility’s operational costs are appreciated.  All donations can be brought to the Yoga Garden Ridgefield location throughout the grand opening event.

This is the second yoga studio opening for Yoga Garden owner Liz Suchinda. The first location opened in Battle Ground, Wash. in 2012. “I am delighted to bring yoga to the Ridgefield community”, says Suchinda.  “Yoga is a great way to inspire and support the healthy lifestyle found in Ridgefield, and I am privileged to be part of this welcoming community.”  Support for local non-profit organizations is not new to Suchinda.  At her Battle Ground location, Suchinda routinely donates food to the north county food bank.  Suchinda’s goal for both Yoga Garden locations is to provide an environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable practicing yoga as a new student or as an experienced one, and to feel a part of the community.
