69% of Financial Institutions Still Rely on Manual Exception Tracking Processes
A recent study by a document management software company shows a need for modernization in exception management practices.
“The study indicates there is still a lot of room for growth,” says Alan Wooldridge, Co-President of AccuSystems, LLC. “Each day, we encounter new clients who are looking to get more from technology. Financial institutions can become more efficient by implementing a comprehensive exception management package, such as AccuAccount.”
Surveying 96 community banks and credit unions, with combined assets of over $30 billion, the study found that 38% of respondents listed missing, expired, or expiring documents as the most difficult exceptions to manage.
Manual systems take time, tedious attention by the individuals doing the paperwork, and important information can be lost along the way. By selecting and implementing a proper exception management tracking system, many financial institutions can alleviate manual processing headaches and become even more efficient in their day-to-day activities.
